Confirmed by statements from Emirates News Agency, flydubai is strengthening its presence in Italy by adding more flights to Milan-Bergamo and Naples, expanding direct connections between the United Arab Emirates and Southern Europe. As part of the new schedule, the airline will operate double daily flights between Dubai International Airport and Milan-Bergamo starting July 31, 2026. At the same time, flights to Naples International Airport have been increased to a daily service, reinforcing its commercial footprint across Italy’s major urban centers.

On Tuesday, Emirates, the flag carrier, officially integrated a digital asset checkout feature, enabling eligible travelers to finalize their ticket purchases using cryptocurrencies via the airline’s website and mobile app. This marks the operational launch of a strategic memorandum of understanding signed between the two entities in July 2025. Transactions involving digital assets are processed through Crypto.com’s checkout portal, providing passengers with direct access to their digital wallets during the ticket purchasing process. This payment infrastructure operates under the regulatory oversight of the Central Bank of the UAE, which issued Crypto.com’s Dubai-based entity a Stored Value Facilities license.

The structure features 30 indoor galleries offering 11,600 square metres of exhibition space, complemented by 23,000 square metres of outdoor display zones. A central atrium connects these areas, with ten sculptural cones defining the skyline—nine clad in stainless steel mesh and one finished with onyx and glass. These cones, reaching up to 88 metres high, are more than visual statements; they are designed to harness natural breezes and provide shade, employing traditional passive cooling methods to mitigate energy use in the desert climate. The museum also includes a dedicated center for art and technology, specialized educational facilities for children, archival collections, a research library, and a state-of-the-art conservation laboratory.

Korea’s foreign tourist arrivals surpassed 10 million in H1, with 1.99 million visitors in June alone. China, Japan, and Taiwan were the top three inbound markets, while North America and Europe also showed significant growth. International flights remained the primary entry route, with regional airports seeing faster growth than major gateways in Seoul. Visitor numbers from Taiwan and the U.S. increased by over 160 percent compared to pre-pandemic levels.
